Meet The Team

It is with great pleasure to join Livingston Academy. I have been working in daycare with strong language immersion and academic curriculum for four consecutive years. As a center director, I was constantly challenged on daily basis and kept the operations running smoothly and on task. I demonstrated flexibility and professionalism. I never hesitated to provide alternatives to our clients with solutions. I always welcome your feedback as a compromise with you and try to make it better. I love children and I found my true passion working with them and for them. I believe in positive reinforcement, emotional intelligence and academics should be part of their growth of our children future.

I am original from Peru and move to Japan when I was 14 yrs. As a kid growing in a diverse cultural showme how important is to be perseverance, resilient and tolerance for others. I study in Canada at the University of Winnipeg and later on move to United States. I speak four languages Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese and English. I live in Livingston and I am a mother of two girls that currently are in elementary school and I am very involved in their academics and overall involved in their school community. I love exercising specially spinning classes, boxing and Zumba. I look forward to meeting all the families of the LA community.

Ms. Angela

Welcome Livingston Academy Families,

My name is Ms.Angela. Let me start out by saying, “It takes a Village to raise our children. I am proud to become part of your family. I started in the education field about 20 years ago. I worked for years in the public school system from kindergarten to 5th grade. But I found my passion in Early Childhood Education. I received my CDA Certification with New Jersey Grow kids. Which has taught me so much more about  the education field, in preschool age children. I honestly love this age group. There is nothing more rewarding than teaching a young child something for the first time, and watching their face light up. It is beyond rewarding. My commitment and dedication to support your family will be a growing process. It will be a smooth transition from home to school teachings.

Beyond work, I look forward to my family time with my children. My daughter Julia 20, is a college student in Florida. She attends FAU in Boca Raton. So I travel to see her when I can break away. I do countless clinics and  lessons for my Volleyball star, Samantha 15. I cherish every moment.  I also love cooking. So I cook meals for some elderly couples in my town that have no help or family around. I also volunteer at Morristown Memorial. I love helping people in need. My hobby is playing pickleball. It is  so much fun. Lastly, I am looking forward to learning all about my students. For a fabulous school year filled with fun  experiences and learning. My goal is to allow our young children to explore and learn as much as possible, so our little stars shine bright!!

Fondly,

Ms.Angela

Hello, my name is Ms. Archana. I have worked with children for over 14 years as a full-time preschool and infant/toddler teacher in New Jersey. I have also worked as a program specialist for five years in Roseland, NJ. Before coming to the USA, I completed a diploma in Computer Science and Engineering in India. After that, I worked as an elementary school teacher, where I grew to love teaching young minds. I am a CDA certified teacher and have also been certified in CPR and First Aid. Some of my hobbies include hiking, playing badminton, and visiting places all around the world. I love being able to go outdoors and positively use my energy. In my free time, I also enjoy cooking and volunteering at the Bridgewater Temple. Furthermore, I am a very social person and enjoy spending time with my close friends and family.

As a teacher, I believe that young children are like soft clays; every external thought or activity helps shape and makes an impression on their minds. My goal as a teacher is to make every child feel special and let their different abilities shine and grow. I have a lot of experience creating a curriculum and activities to help each individual grow at their own pace. I am very excited to take on this new role and start working with young children to help them grow.

After all, “It takes a big heart to help shape little minds.”

Ms. Suzanne

My name is Suzanne Hale. I look forward to joining the wonderful team of teachers, and cultivating strong child-teacher and parent-teacher relationships at Livingston Academy. I received my BA in education from Kean University and have been working in education for 20 years. I have studied and implemented Whole Language, Creative Curriculum, Reggio Emilia, Project Approach and N.J Grow Kids, and continue to learn about Emergent Curriculum through professional development workshops.

I feel the balance between child initiated and teacher guided activities provide children with confidence, independence, self esteem and the desire to create. Facilitating age appropriate activities and lessons, and allowing the child to learn through play create opportunities for children to explore their environment in a positive atmosphere. My goal is to inspire a love of learning in each child by supporting social, emotional, cognitive and physical development. I have witnessed the joy and wonder on a child's face as they are celebrated and nurtured as a unique and valuable part of a community in a safe, secure and comfortable environment. I believe Livingston Academy provides that environment.

I look forward to meeting all the families of the Livingston Academy community.
